The BERN EIMANS

Peter Eiman and Catherine Schneider were married in Switzerland. A daughter, Catherine, was born to them who died in infancy. A second daughter was born to them on August 3, 1853 and in honor of his loving wife, again, the name Catherine was given to this infant.

In the Spring of 1854, Peter Eiman and his family with other relatives came to America, where they settled in Buchanan County, Missouri. Here two other children were born:
