July 27, 1980
The 52nd annual reunion of the H. F. Schindler was held July 27, 1980 at the Clair United Methodist Church.
After the dinner, President Glen Schindler called the meeting to order, and gave special recognition to Aunt Josephine Schneider. The traditional song, "Saved By Grace", was sung by the Lee Schneider family. The secretary, Hilton Sander, read the minutes and called the roll, with 71 members present.
Glen Schindler announced the following additions to the family:

The treasurer, H. C. Schneider, reported a balance of $43.06 in the treasury. It was asked for donations to cover the outstanding bills.

A special guest, Dorothy Trunnel, from Manhattan, Kansas, was present. She is related to the Russel Schindler family.

The 53rd H.F. Schindler family reunion was held at Clair United Methodist Church on July 26, 1981. Prayer was led by Rev. Ron Kruger before a delicious pot luck dinner.
President Toby Schneider called the meeting to order. The traditional song "Saved by Grace" was sung by Robert and Mary Lou Cornelius. The Secretary H.C. Schneider read the minutes and called the roll with 76 members present out of a family enrollment of 252.
Rev & Mrs. George Myer and Rev. & Mrs. Ron Kruger were recognized as guests.

The 54th H. F. Schindler reunion was held at the Clair United Methodist Church on July 25, 1982. The dinner prayer was led by Reverend Ron Kruger.
President Hilton Sander called the meeting to order. The song "Saved By Grace" was sung by the Lee Schneider family. The secretary, Robert Cornelius, read the minutes and called the roll. 63 members were present out of a family enrollment of 255.
Reverend and Mrs. George Myer were recognized as special guests from their respective churches. Aunt Fina was recognized for her attendance at age 91 years.
Three new members were recognized by birth. They were:

The treasurers report was given by Kevin Schneider and a balance of $32.53 was reported.
Lee Schneider reported that he is still continuing update requests from 2 years ago. He asked that in the future when someone marries, he would like to have both parents' names along with the maiden name.

The 55th H. F. Schindler Family reunion was held July 24, 1983 at the Clair United Methodist Church. The dinner prayer was led by Rev. Ron Krueger, pastor of the Hope Church.
President Henry Schneider called the meeting to order. The traditional song, "Saved by Grace", was sung by Robert Cornelius. The Secretary, Kevin Schneider, read the minutes and called the roll with 68 members present out of a family enrollment of 253.
Several members of the family were recognized: Aunt Josephine and Aunt Vera, our only second generation members; Preston and Lucille Schneider and Milton and Mildred Ford, who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversaries during the past year.
The treasurer's report was given by Lori Schneider and a balance of $40.78 was reported.
The President read a letter from Stella Schneider. He noted that Stella was observing a birthday on the reunion date and asked the members present to sign a card for her.
Recognition was given to new members. They were Kerry Kathleen Cryder, Amy Jan Phipps, and Wheaton Samuel Elkins by birth, and Gerald Richard Travers, Mark Wayne Thornhill, and Ruth Ann Butner Judah by Marriage.

The 56th H. F.Schindler Family reunion was held July 22, 1984 at the Clair United Methodist Church. The dinner prayer was led by REV. Harold Gold, paster of the host church.
Vice-President Kevin Schneider called the business meeting to order. Thesong "Saved by Grace" was sung by Kevin & Terri Schneider. The Secretary Lori Schneider read the minutes and called the roll with 62 members present out of a family enrollment of 258.
Rev. & Mrs. Harold Gold, Rev. & Mrs. Ron Kruger and Rev. Jodi & Gary Ponder-Williams were introduced as guests. Aunt Fena Schneider was recognized, although unable to attend and Ethel Schneider Bunse was honored as attending.
Treasury report was given by Terri Schneider and donations were asked for to help cover our expenses.

The 57th annual reunion of the H. F. Schindler family was held July 28, 1985 at the Clair United Methodist Chuech. Preceding the pot-luck dinner, Rev. Ron Krueger, of Hope Church of Christ, led the family in prayer.
President Kevin Schneider called the meeting to order. The traditional song, "Saved By Grace," was sung by Ron & Marva Murawski and Stan & Pat Kapp. Terri Schneider, secretary, read the minutes from the previous year and called the roll with each member standing and stating his hometown. Seventy-seven family members were present out of a total enrollment of 267. Treasurer Meredith Kapp reported a balance of $27.61 and a request for donations was made.
Special recognition was given to several family members: Aunt Josephine and Aunt Vera, our only second generation family members, and the Nelson Kapp family for their perfect attendance with all 16 members present.
Special guests recognized were Rev. Ron Krueger and family, Rev. Larry Hartell and daughter of Cosby Faith and Zion Churches, and Mr. Brent Beery, fiance of Lori Schneider.
The Rev. Lester Sander gave a memorial for Mildred Ford, who dies on November 7, 1984, and Ethel Bunse, who died on January 11, 1985.

The 58th annual reunion of the H. F. Schindler Family was held at Clair United Methodist Church on July 27, 1986. The dinner prayer was led by the Rev. Harold Gold.
The meeting was called to order by the president Lori Beery. The traditional song "Saved by Grace" was sung by Debbie Burnett. Meredith Kapp, secretary, read the minutes from the last meeting and called the roll. There were 67 members who answered roll call from a membership of 267. David Schindler, treasurer, reported a balance of $25.71 and requested donations to cover the ice cream and church hall rental.
The special guests recognized were: Rev. Harold Gold and family of Clair Church, James and Stephanie Lee of the Crosby Faith and Zion Churches. Esther Schneider was introduced as a visitor. Shane Schindler introduced his fiance, Lidy Lanseford. Vera Schindler was recognized as being the oldest member present. Also recognized was the Bill Schindler family from Texas and Marilyn Grauberger from Colorado as traveling great distances to attend.
The Rev. Lester Sander gave a memorial for Josephine A. Schneider, Elwin "jack" Schindler and George Moyer, members who passed away during the year.

The 59th annual reunion of the H.F. Schindler family was held at Clair United Methodist Church on July 26th, 1987. The dinner prayer was given by Rev. Harold Gold.
President Terri Schneider called the meeting to order. The traditional song, "Saved by Grace", was sung with a "community sing", first cousins singing first verse, second cousins singing second verse, "married-ins" singing third verse and all joining in for the last verse. David Schindler, Secretary, called the roll and read the minutes from the last reunion. 71 people answered the roll call from a membership of 270. Debbie Burnett reported a balance of -$8.52 and asked for donations to defray expenses.
Ester Schneider was recognized as a visitor. Vera Schindler was honored as the oldest member present. Among those traveling long distances to attend were: Dale & Eula Ammon and Marilyn Grauberger from Colorado; Kevin Schneider from Washington, DC; and Dee Louis Phipps from South Dakota. Kenneth Schindler noted that the Schindler Bible was there and invited those attending to look at it.

The 60th annual reunion of the H. F. Schindler Family was held at Clair United Methodist Church on July 24, 1988. The dinner prayer was given by Rev. Lester Sander.
President Meredith Kapp called the meeting to order. The traditional song, "Saved by Grace", was sung by Stan and Patricia Kapp accompanied by Denise Kapp. Debra Burnett, secretary, called the roll and read the minutes from the last reunion. 78 people answered call from a membership of 275. Daryl Schneider, treasurer, reported a balance of $19.66 before expenses and requested donations to defray expenses.
Dale Ammon recognized Vera Schindler as the only great aunt present and still living. Those traveling long distances to attend were Wayne Schindler from Texas, Dale and Eula Ammon from Colorado. Brian Schneider was listed in the country's service in Fort Ord, California.

Lee T. Schneider III moved that the names of the roll call be listed under the names of the original children. This was seconded by John Schneider. Lee Schneider II recognized Eula Ammon for the initial work done on the Family record in 1944.

The 61st annual reunion of the H. F. Schindler Family was held at Clair United Methodist Church on July 23, 1989. A basket dinner preceded the annual meeting.
President David Schindler called the meeting to order. The traditional song "Saved by Grace" was sung by all in attendance. Secretary Daryl Schneider read the minutes and Roll Call. Sixty-one answered roll call from a membership of 286. Treasurer Larry Schindler reported a balance of $66 in the treasury and requested donations for next year's meeting.
Traveling the longest distance this year was the Curtis Schindler family of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Reverend Dale Ammon gave a memorial for Dorothy Smith.
